Fred, I'm absolutely impressed with the accuracy, with which you cut the letters with curves, such as the U and the R. I once had to do that, and I didn't get the curves nice and smooth. Yours are! So how did you do that????

Hi Fred! Congratulations for Your stunning work so far, which I just have discovered for me! I´m really looking forward, how this will go on and am especially impressed by the neatness of Your build: Your polls arrange to an "alley", where I would create a mere "jungle". Are You building strictly "by the book", or did You do some individual extra-work?

By the way: the Scaldis rescales are yet still easily available at http://www.kartonmodellshop.de, although Anna and Slawomir seem to consider retirement no so far away in the future...

Very, very careful and it take a lot of time and knifes points

@ Heiner: I do some extra work like railings and bollards. I also bought a achor chain.

After the hollidays and a nasty flu I go on!

I placed some railings on the second deck of the after superstructure :

32 poles of 1 mm were placed:

And the deck glued on the ship:

The poles painted in the dazzle scheme:

The first bollards and some more railing:

Port is ready:

Now I go on with starboard

Don't see many pass ships so really great that you are. And picking the dazzle one too. Great build. I like your thinking ahead when it comes to all the stanchions and poles. Great.
