Thanks my friends for all your comments. Günther's model is superb. I hope I can build mine almost as good as his model. Thanks for letting us know about his work.

This is photo of JSC founder, and my father in law, Slawomir. I remember very well when this photo was taken - summer 2000. Slawomir past away in 2009, and the model is still unfinished. We are going to come back to this design soon and publish it, but definitely not this year.

Apparently JSC had intended to offer a model of Great Eastern. I have found not evidence that it was ever published, but found a 20-year-old Bildrum article that included an image of JSC-founder Slavomir Czolczynski holding a white paper test model of Great Eastern: Back to news from MODELLJORNALEN

I don't get fees from Schreiber Verlag. A lot of ABC-Kits have that kind of instructions the Great Eastern has. I don't hear any complains about ABC instructions.

The quality of the instructions are poor, yes. But it is an illiusion to believe getting a better one if there are a lot of complains. This kit is buyed only by a few people for builing it. The most buyers only collects that kit.

And about how many kits we are talking. The Schreiber Verlag sells yet the first edition, or let us say the second one..., be a little bit more realistic, build it (with try and error) or let it be in your collection.

And some of the new models produced in our days, have highly detailed pictures for building instructions, but a prototyp as a control build was not made and you don't get what you see...(for example some productions of Angraf Verlag). That is a reason for complaining, but although a consequence of economial reasons. Control builds are expensive, you need somebody who does it and it takes a long time...

The model builder has to overcome both obstacles by his own skills and creativity.

Ouhhh a lot of my two cents...
