m.s. Prinses Beatrix scale 1:200

Just for fun I started a new ship. I planned to build this ship in just a few weeks ( so in 4 weeks it has to be finished )

This is the ferry m.s. prinses Beatrix that had a line between Vlissingen and Breskens in the Netherlands from 1957 until 1986.

The book:

Started to cut the book in pieces:

Made a start by cut out the bottom:

Cool! I really like ship models. How do you like using that glue? Wiccoll is my favorite, but I can't find it anywhere. Looking for a suitable replacement. The drying time is perfect for me, not too slow, not too fast. I would love it if somebody could turn me on to where I might get some more. Or is it even still being made, I wonder?

Placed the car deck and started with the walls:

It was quiet tricky but if one site is ready the second side is a piece of cake

next step: the promenade deck:

I can't find the Wiccoll glue in Europe, for many years I use the Kittyfix!
This glue is in 2 types, the fast and the slow one
Don't know if you can buy this in The States.
