I built the Domatime model. Tried both regular paper and card stock. Both gave bother in the complex curves at the front.
I think Gary's Model might improve those curves with the multiple strips. But, like Ckendzierski, I'd probably cut most of those tabs off as well. But I'd go with back seams to help join the surface details. The sharp angle joints I usually leave the tabs in, since they are part of the angle.

Have left those flaps open for awhile why i try to come up with a way to make rudder amd propeler move abulle

Getting closer

Gonna try and go to marvins paint dept. and see if i can get sample pots of the colors to do must of the touch up

encouraging! And along the topic of encouragement, remember that this is fun!


I myself am having fun trying to bash Gary's nose to the Domatine model. (and yes, bash is a double meaning here - so far all attempts have gotten bashed to the point of ending up in the trash can).

Hang it abovr a fire pit then start the fire and watct burn or you could glue that powder stuff that changes the color of the flames

Should be done tommrow then just have to decide how much tunning up to do or put file backk into the make file again
