Bringing the process forward. More or less the details have been finished, some ladders and railings have been glued in. Still missing one antenna and a radiator for the radar, but that later

next almost finished RADAR FUMO 23 and also some small detail and 3D rendering to see how it should looks .

Almost everything I have already done that can be seen in the 3D pictures, also AA guns but that's a separate post. Now it will all go into the base primer and the details will be fine tuned. See you next time

Hello Pietro.

Impressive build!

I've got one question though.
From your pictures it's quite clear there is no deck camber which in 1:150 is perfectly visible.
Are you planning to make the decks cambered?
All this great work you've put in is going to be 50% without this very important and basic detail of the ship.

Kind regards,
Great craftsmanship!

Hi,

if I understand right, you mean curved deck little bit? right? - no I will do not do it, since I didnt see any others build from modelres to do it and no one even know that should be done it. And also it will complitated things around. and even if so , that camber in this scale would be around 2mm.

Well, "no body knows" it is not true, if you study ships, you will see that every ship has cambered decks, up to all decks. Reason is to lead water off of the decks. In your scale it is certainly visible, even in scale 1:200 it can be done. But, of course, it is your choice, but it would make your model even better as it already is. After all this "critics" I would like to congratulate you with your model so far, very well done, also the 3D part of your building process.
