W&P,

I just noticed, and approved your Elco file in the download section, sorry for the delay

Thank you Foute Man:

The info is very interesting. The WWI vessel is in the short list.

Thank you Rikstef;

I am considering uploading the Elco 77' original torpedo boat, and maybe the Soviet armorer cutters.

ps: Hopefully I will have a Higgins 78' PT soon.

Hello: Beautiful work on the 77 foot Elcos. I cannot wait to see what you do with the Higgins PT. I am also hoping you are considering an Elco 80 foot PT. To have all three from one designer and in one scale would be fantastic. The diorama possibilities would be endless!!! Happy New Year to all!!!

Thank you Rock55:
Here is the WIP of the Higgins 78', in this case a late mark.
And many thanks to Chicharrero!

WIP Early higgins

Still working on the Higgins 78' PT Boat, testing the early model.
In the later models, they move back the twin Cal 50 to improve visibility from the bridge.

Thanks for the PT boats Pablo, they'll be handy for a Philippine diorama.

Early Higgins 78' PT boats

Thank you Lorenzo:
I am releasing the early Higgins 78' with the Mark VIII torpedoes and the updated mid war early boats with the Mark XIII torpedoes.
Hope you like them.
Let me know what you think.

Once again, very fine work on a somewhat neglected subject. Now, how about some 80 foot elcos to round out the collection.

Thank you Rock55.
As far as I know these 77' Elcos and 78' Higgins are the only available in paper.
As for the 80' Elcos there are a few options including Dave's, the simple Extra Model, and the venerable Rigby. Lorenzo also asked if I am going to do one. I certainly would love to add one in Zebra Camo, so it is a definitively maybe.
