Nice! Looks like You are modeling the 1942-early 43 time frame, judging by the camo.

keep up the great work.

One of the many started projects of SZKUTNIK, that probably never will be finished and published. Where are the other projects you announced a long time ago ?? Like SOLDEK, DAR POMORZA, TITANIC Class liners, YAMATO/MUSASHI, HMS ATHENE etc. ?? Pity !!!! and now putting another to the list USS NEW MEXICO. The only one published so far was USS HORNET.

There is an element of truth in that last comment but it is still very inspiring to see the quality of artwork and precision construction shown here. I've been hoping to see the completion of Dar Pomarza for the past couple of years. Regardless of being completed or not I hope Szkutnik continues to share these incredible projects. Much appreciated !

Sorry for my pessimistic comment, but I experienced myself a never finished but promised project last week, with my Hr.Ms. De Ruyter project, which after five years of waiting will be continued without the promises that were made ! But just will do it my way now !! I just find it a pity when people with great talents, don't use them !!
Right now I am re-drawing the Dutch National Archives drawings of Hr.Ms. De Ruyter, with a vector drawing program called EazyDraw (only available for Mac computers).
My plan is still to make a scale 1:100 cut open model of the ship using these drawings and hundreds of photographs (in and out) I have of the ship.
Included are some low-res screenshots of the re drawn drawings I made until now.
By the way I was waiting for SOLDEK from which I also have hundreds of photographs of the in- and exterior
