Mercury and Vulkan sea tugs - HMV - 1:250

Ahoy

With my next project next, I am back on the water, I am building the Mercury and Vulkan sea tugs.

In the HMV arch from 2001 there are two tugs that I will build in parallel.

854 parts in known HMV quality are printed on five sheets. The building instructions are, as usual, at HMV in beautiful 3D images.

With great anticipation and best regards
Kurt

Welcome again Mike

Now let's get started ...

Cut out parts 1 + 2, scratch and bend and fix the base plate with glue at certain points on the glass plate ...
stick on the longitudinal frame ...

... then the thirteen transverse frames ... part 16 is quadrupled and allowed to dry well

Sincerely yours
Kurt

Those are two good-looking watercraft.

I am going to enjoy watching you build them.

Glue the reinforced part 16a to the stern and prepare the deck ... and stick it on

After drying well, detach the fuselage from the glass plate

Sincerely yours
Kurt

Attach parts 18/19 on both sides ... now the side walls, whereby the marking for cross frame 10 is important ...

... because first I just glue the tabs between frame 9 + 10 ... then pull up in the middle and let it dry well

Sincerely yours
Kurt

Now glue down at the front ... glue on up, always let it dry in between

Also at the rear first at the bottom ... and finally at the top with the thin strip ...

... thus the side walls are attached

LG Kurt
