I present the UUS Gambier Bay. I took liberties with the plane alignment and with the signal flags. This model was a terrific build, the fit of the parts is top notch. I bought a new bottle of testers bronze paint for the Hornet's screws and am so pleased with the color. This ship had a pair of 4 blade screws and the "paddles" fit well on the hubs. The paint is so realistic you'd swear these really were bronze.

Fabulous work. I agree with you about those screws. They look great. You deserve the "medal of honor" for your persistence with all those aircraft. They appear to have all come out of the same factory. My father served on one of these small aircraft carriers during "Operation Torch" (USS Sangamon). It looked a lot like this one.
