Bruno Van Hecke’s Ships

Hello, in the papercraft field everyone associates Bruno Van Hecke/ Scissors and Planes with aircraft models. Nevertheless, he has done a few designs of ships like the fleet tug USS Navajo. I enlarged it from 1/1250 to 1/400 and built it straight from the paper. If you want a more detailed model of this ship, get the one from Gerry from Ecardmodels, also in 1/400. Later, I will add just a few details like the main mast, flagstaffs, guns, and some touches of paint. I just wanted to showcase this creation by Master Bruno. After the war, the Cherokee class (originally known as the Navajo class) served in many navies including those of: Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Indonesia, Pakistan, Peru, Republic of China, Turkey, and of course the United States Coast Guard.
