Hi all paper modelers !!

I'ts a quite long time I don't made any update of the shipyard of the Russian battleship Borodino, mainly because I built some other models in the meantime.

Now I take on again this model and I added some other particulars and components.... I can say that this model is very close to be completed.

What is still missing are, mainly, the propellers, the poles for the anti-torpedo net, some fixed rigging, the stand and, at last, the transparent case.

So, at the end, I can say that I hope to complete this model in next couple of months, ready to be exposed for a future model exhibition here in Italy !!

Hoping you'll like those few pics (and forgive for the "background" of the mess of many things on the work table).

Have a nice time and an happy paper-modeling !!

Ciao from Italy

Jp

Hello JP . . . It is a pleasure to see your battleship again.
It is packed with details and built like a fortress.
Very skilled work.

Borodino completed...

Hello and good evening to all paper-modelers worldwide..

During last weeks, I was able to give a "speed-up" to the dockyard of the Russian Battleship BORODINO, in paper, scale 1:200.

So, now, I can consider this model "completed", with the exception of missing for a "nice stand" and a transparent case to protect the model.

Indeed, this model has been, probably, the most complicated I have build until now... but for the complexity, this model was also a real challenge for building and in the need to see it completed, with the right ways and in the right times (without run)

So, I leave you all with the attached pics, that show the model just completed.

Have a nice paper modeling !!!

ciao

Jp

Complimenti!
It was a pleasure to sit in the audience and watch your battleship project.
I must make special mention of your auxiliary boats. I like the way you create a curve to their hulls, even at that scale. Also, the rigging, masts and railing all deserve praise.

Holy smokes, that's one beautiful battleship. Pre-dreadnought era battleships and other ships were real lookers.
