Maybe someday I'll tackle the USS Nimitz. The Forrestal was a great deal on ebay, a few years back, and maybe I'll stumble across a deal on the Nimitz that I can't refuse... My preferred scale for ships remains 1/400 but it was fun to get out of my comfort zone and try out this one. I think a fleet of 1/400 carriers would be quite cool. The Forrestal is parked on a table amongst some other models. (Note the Discovery spaceship is plastic, not paper). It really does feel strange not to be working it after all this time... I've started on a Canon giraffe to keep me out of trouble for a bit. Best regards, Kurt |

That may have been a similar circumstance for how I got mine, that someone was selling off a stock of kits. I wan't out looking for the Forrestal but just happened to see it.
