I've had this in my collection for years. It was one of the first ones I acquired.
Looking for not a huge project so I think I'll do this one next.

The standard JSC skeletal structure. My center triangular piece had an arch to it so I put in a piece of wood to try and straighten it. it corrected it quite a bit but i still had some left.

I wanted some additional thickness to the deck so I glued it to some bristol board. This also allowed me eliminate the deck joint tab and mate both pieces on the bristol board thereby having a single deck piece instead.

Hull plating went together nicely. Love the color scheme.

Superstructure now up.

Most of the big parts are on now.

Torpedo tubes made and they rotate. I armed them.
