I like it Hermit, it looks very clean and smooth. I think the dull cote had the proper impact.

This is very smart looking for a MM kit. Great job!

lookin' GOOD, now for the fun stuff. I think I sometimes spend as much time on the hull as the rest of the ship. Seems that way, when your itching to move on.

Hey look Moe, he painted the bottom!!!!!! LOL. All kiddin aside, I like and the money shot was great. Really interested in this build. I have this kit, but alas, I believe she is too small for my ole eyes, but you, my young man seem to have well in hand. I have watched your builds and you are really coming along with each one to a high standard. You appear to be wanting to improve with each one, this is good!:DRick

well since i am working 10-12 hr days and no time off and arthritis all are conspiring to me sleeping alot

just got some days off and here is some photos

its really confusion with only a couple of diagrams to build this complex carrier and knowing how i tend to mash things when i get in the zone
i decided to continue to build the upper hull in the same format with a little over kill im doing 2.5 mm side formers before i skin it to get a nice smooth surface and it seems to work well but i dont think i will do that with the bow and stern those are pretty complex as is
and i test fit some side skins and they look well...
enjoying the build but man is it complex i really have to study and plan what the next moves are

enjoy

Looking good Hermit. I can't recall too many M.M. models looking this clean and square at this point in the project. Well done.

This is going to be a great display model.
