substructure
So this one starts out pretty simple, as with the rest of the series, the substructure is color coded, the keel is placed first followed by the four, internal support structures.

comparison
This is what it looks like in comparison to the Oneonta, (first of the series) and the much smaller Hassalo (second of the series) all in 1/150 scale.

Main Deck
This is the Hull, free board and main deck assembled, there is a dark strip that trims it, this gives insight as to how long and narrow it was, 212 ft. long (64.61 M) by only 38 ft. wide (11.58 M)

Cargo deck
This is the main, or cargo deck, the internal partitions are placed first followed by the sides, there is a, "ceiling" that covers the bow, the sole purpose is to hold the shape of the upper railing when the second deck goes on, I'm not to concerned with the upper edges at this stage because the second deck will straighten all of that out.

Second deck
Before I can place the second deck, I first had to place the stairs.
The openings in the deck are precariously close to the edges to be folded so a pair of broad tweezers was used to support the opening while folding the tabs, note as well that this second deck has what many experienced modelers would appreciate, FINGER ACCESS HOLES! The stairs are not square but veer inward by 3 degrees, they are mirror images so care has to be taken to assure left and right placement, the stairs are added to the deck prior to the deck being secured to the assembly. Once the deck was nailed down I assembled the two, second deck cabins that are in two pieces to be joined, the corners are rounded so I used a large, carpet needle to form them.

Cabins
This is the second deck cabins and salons, once the roof is on I can then add the railings.

This looks like a nice build Fred.
I really like the way you have designed the structure and the way it is coming together.

Yeah Kevin, the design method does tend to be, "unconventional"
