The "R. R. THOMPSON" (a build thread)

This is the third ship of the middle river series, ships that plied the mighty Columbia River, the R.R. Thompson, done in 1/150 scale as with the previous.

More specific information can be found here->

R. R. Thompson (sternwheeler - Wikipedia)

This model was purposely kept as simple as absolutely possible having only 149 parts on ten part sheets.

Here are a few images of the actual ship.

A classic sharp-prowed stern paddle river steamer with an interesting history. The prototype looks good. Another excellent addition to your stable of Pacific Northwest steamers.

I look forward to seeing more.

This only has 149 parts so it should go rather quickly.

Keeping it simple, will it look out of place next to the others?

No vermin, the others are simple as well, this one is consistent with the others in the series, I'll see if I can post a comparison, wasn't able to work on it today as i had errands to run, more soon.
