Here it is installed. This looks far better than the kit supplied part, but then this kit isn't exactly as advanced as others out there.

Propeller shafts are hard mounted but propellers and rudder are only dry fitted. I'll need to make a stand first before I mount them as I'm certain I'll bang them up.

An internet search shows both.

yeah, I also did some searching before I posted the WoWS images (since I am no ship expert!)
but I found no evidence of single rudder setup on this boat.
Everything I found showed twin rudders balanced over four screws.
(The position of a single central rudder wouldn't work well in my opinion).

Even HMS Marlborough (another one of the Iron Duke Class ships) has four screws and twin rudders.
I assume all four (Iron Dukes) do.
[I have a photo of Marlborough in drydock showing the off-center rudders]

But, as I said, I am no expert...just passing along what I found.
Full steam ahead!!

I don't think a single rudder would be all that effective too. Probably another kit error as the Modelik model (which I believe is the corrected version of this one) has two rudders. Either way, I think two rudders are in order now.

The instructions for this model are abysmal. There are wire templates that I have no idea where they are supposed to go! The few scant diagrams do not indicate.

New superstructure added. My output has slowed down considerably.

She's looking pretty good. It is an older kit when instructions were bad for all the various card models. You'll get it, compare all 3 sources, wire diagrams, plan views and the cover art. Also there's the internet, lots of photos of Iron Duke.
