regarding the paint scheme for hmas perth, found this page via the webarchive, with a statement made by a crew member (in charge of the paint locker) about the february 1942 paint scheme. you'll also find profiles for the november 1941 scheme, and the february 1942 scheme[/QUOTE]
I used the camo info to color a version of my Perth in this odd scheme. I am making a beta build of it now - pics attached, showing the keel, bulkheads and hull assembly. I'll post other pics separately. Wayne |

As is the case with all of your projects, we are learning a lot from your research.

Just to be clear, since I mishandled Fout Man's quote, he did the research. I'm benefitting from his diligent work. Wayne |

Hi Wayne! Clearly I still have a lot to catch up with. I am fascinated to see somebody else working in 1:600 paper.
She is a beauty already. I'm looking forward to see you work through things. Carl |

Especially attractive is the camouflage of DD-226 Peary during her escape from Campomanes Bay 27.12.1941 ....

It is very cool. I would like you to design the ss rex and I would send you the 3d file of the ship or the plans of the ship.
