As a reference. the Rio Iguazu with two of the very well known papercraft patrol boats from the Japanese Coast Guard at the same scale.

Hi Herky, thank you for your interest,

To my knowledge the main naval vessels that landed troops were:
Submarine ARA Santa Fe: Tactical Divers
Type 42 Santisima Trinidad: Commandos using RIBs
Landing Ship ARA Cabo San Antonio: Amphibious vehicles
Icebreaker ARA Irizar: Heliborne Troops

Other vessels served as well like the:
ARA Hércules , ARA Drummond y ARA Granville y ARA Isla de los Estados, and smaller vessels like the ARA Sobral (that I think I am going to design) and PNA Islas Malvinas and PNA Rio Iguazu.
It is not clear to me how many merchant vessels participated in the landings.

ARA Sobral

Continuing with the Malvinas/Falklands topic, here is the first draft of the ARA Sobral, a survivor of a helicopter Sea Skua attack. It was a Sotoyomo-class rescue tug, before transfer to Argentina she served as USS Salish (ATA-187).

Second try at the Sobral

This is my second try at the ARA Sobral. I increased the forward sheer, adjusted the bridge, and added armament, life raft canisters and boat.

PS: Lots of guesstimations and licenses.

ARA San Luis

The ARA San Luis submarine was the only vessel from the Argentinian Navy that remained in station after the sinking of the ARA Belgrano during the Malvinas/Falklands War.

The hull of the San Luis is based on STRK’s Modern Naval Warfare Kobben. The rest is from the pictures and one profile found on internet. It also has some guesstimation and licenses.
