It has taken ten months, but the Dunkerque is finally completed, and commissioned with flags flying. My initial printing problem (that produced “50 shades of grey”) is evident in a few places but I did need to re-scale this model down to 1/250 so that it would fit into my display cabinet – which it does, but only just. This elegant ship now makes a nice contrast to some of my other models of the French monstrosities from the 1890’s.
