MV Apollo car ferry 1:250 scale

This is a 1:250 scale model of the MV Apollo. Published by Paper Shipwright it is available as either a download or printed copy



I'm not really a fan of building large ships. But this has been in my build pile for far too long.



Glued the base of ship to a long steel ruler. Should help keep thing straight.



Due to the size of the model the hull sides are in two pieces. Makes for a join line. But can't be helped.



Glued and shaped the hull sides prior to installation.



Glued the rear on first, then worked forward. It went on okay. Not great just okay.

The steel ruler trick is genius, I will be sure to do something like that for any future 'long' builds.
