Pirate Ship
Howdy,
Thank you to the member posting the Los barcos de papel: Galeon pirata (1650) Website. A simple Pirate ship was printed on cardstock and sails were printed on 20 lb letter size paper. This fun little model provided many relaxing hours listening to Tom Clancy's CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER while I glued sewing thread rat lines on a home made 4 bolt device. Thank you to Los Marcos de Papel for the pleasurable design. Bob |

WOW! That is a lot of detail-work for such a small ship! Great job!

Arrhh she be smart as paint, aye, smart as paint she be.
Bob, I almost didn't recognize her she looks great! I've been re-reading Samuel Eliot Morrison's "Admiral of the Ocean Sea" and the thought of Columbus wandering around Cuba, Hispaniola, & Tortuga made me mindful of all the things to come. The treasures of the New World spread before him and all Columbus wanted was gold. I guess the greedy rapacious tone was set early on. Aye, keep a sharp eye for them shoals Jim boy there's a good lad. Yep hundreds of years of adventure, treachery, and good clean sea air to come. Cheers me hearties! David aka Formerly Styrene |
