It seems I only place difficult questions on the forum, but with members worldwide, I don't understand why no members have an answer to them !! This goes also for my question about Roman Detyna !!

Hi John

Correct me if I'm wrong, but do you want to show the interior of the ship?
If so, then you need a larger version of attached image.

Apparently this cutaway profile is on display at the Hikawa Maru Museum

Found it after doing a google in japanese. just translate some search terms via google translate and let the results surprise you...
Hikawa Maru is a museum, and as with all museums, there will be people that take pictures and post them....

*****
And yes, it is on display.....

Hans, John & Foute man, thanks for the information, but these drawings I already found and downloaded, from the color cut open drawing I have already a High resolution version, bought online, but were I am specific looking for is the drawing I showed you on top of my thread, the "General Arrangement plan" with all the decks, I have a low resolution PDF file with this all, but too unclear to see all the details and text.
On the other side I have good news, a Japanese Skype friend is going to visit "Hikawa Maru" and the NYK museum in Yokohama coming Friday, he promised me to do his best to get as much as possible detailed photos of the real ship and of the builders model in the museum, so fingers crossed. I have already a lot of material gathered of the "Hikawa Maru" class ship, but detailed pictures are always welcome.

Hi John

Checked the GA plan group on Facebook, but the GA plan for Hikawa Maru and Sisters is a much wanted item. No success over there.
The GA plan is from either a book or a (business) magazine. Can't help you with a book title. Perhaps you could try to find it, if you have access, in 1920's or 1930's copies of magazines as "The Motorship" or "Shipbuilding & Engineering" etc etc????

Just to let you know, I was very busy re-drawing, the drawing of "Hikawa Maru", I showed above. These are just Low-res screenshots, but the originals are vector drawings and about 65cm in length, and very detailed. These drawings are far from finished !
