I had to come back to this beauty, so I spent my lunch hour looking at the details in all those photos.
My first impression was that turret on the aft deck was made to rotate, but after looking at it more closely, perhaps not. It looks as if the guns inside are “repositioned” as needed? The sail work is nicely done, including those stowed midship behind the funnel. What brands this as a “JohnMGD” ship is the exquisite rivet work on the hull, seen clearly in image 312.
