Greg, Mike, Greg S, Fred, Don, Dave, Shipbuild, Jan and Erik, thank you all for your kind comments. It is wonderful when one’s work is obviously so much appreciated.
Jan, sorry to hear that your efforts with old ship models were not successful. Maybe you are too hard on yourself. You should allow yourself some failures, my techniques did not pop-up overnight. :-) Finding the right materials is also crucial. Erik, I am only involved in making the 1/10 model in so far that I (together with Herbert Tomesen from Artitec and Cor Emke who made the drawings) created the design for the build of the 1/1 ship, which was abandoned about a year later. I consequently left the yard, so I had very little to do with the model, although I gave some advice to Aemile Lalk who is dealing with the rigging. I appreciate the model, but I would have preferred the full-size shp… |

Your photos of ''how its done" are a treasure. Most inspirational for us model builders. We all need help occasionally. Your pdf has a permanent place in my library!

Dear Mr Hoving
Thank you for the book. Its wonderful. As soon as I am back at the office I will print it full colour. Will there be an addendum with the hull drawings as well in the future? |

I took an eye to the eBook before completely read your first post and I though: "It's incredible that he found illustrations and photos of his models, in the same exact position and shape of the wings...".
Only later I did realize that are rendering made by your son: really congratulations to both of you!

Hello et2B, Bob Penicas and assettico,
Thank you for your kind words. No plans at the moment et2B, but the future brings, I don’t know. In the mean time, if there is any model you want the plans of, just ask and I will see what I can do. |

It did not disappear. It had to be approved first, and my apologies, I must have missed it.
