Cut and Paste. Free downloadable e-book

Now that my production of paper scratch-built ship models has lately come to halt due to failing eyes and hands it might be a good idea to show my production from 2017, all so beautifully pictured by my son Emiel and his Photoshop renderings.
I hope you like the book as much we did making it.
Best,
Ab

Hello Ab,
This looks like a fascinating piece of work. I look forward to exploring it this weekend, but I can tell you, as always, the photos are masterpieces.
Proost!

As Greg says, it is a magnificent production and a wonderful way to preserve your research, scholarship, and artisanship into the future. I have downloaded the book and anticipate spending many hours over future years pouring over the images and accompanying text.

Congratulations to you both and sincere thanks for sharing this opus.

Don

Just discovered it on the forum, a magnificent piece of work, Thanks Ab. !!!!!
I tried my hands on these period sailing ships, but nothing came out of it, I think it is a different kind of scale modelling, I am not suited for it, also the rigging gave me great problems, until now my 150 year old model is still not rigged, and will probably not be rigged at all :(

Thank you Ab for sharing this magnificent collection! You and your son are the Dutch masters of the 21st century. I have printed the document on A3 size paper and will check out every detail. Truly amazing. All the best to you .

By the way, a few years ago I visited the Batavia museum and met a few people who were working on the 1:10 scale model of the Zeven Provincien. Have you been or are you involved in this project as well?

Cheers,
Erik
