SS Ticonderoga Inquiry
Hello Everyone,
I would like to make a model of the Ticonderoga but can't find plans. I have the side plans from the library of congress but not the stations. Does anyone have a lead on where to find them? The Ticonderoga was a fast ferry (18 knots) that ran between New York and Vermont on Lake Champaign. Not bad speed for a steam side wheeler. She is preserved in the Shelbourn Museum in Vermont. I enclose some pictures of her. cheers Jim Bean |

You might want to try the Lake George Steamboat Company. They had similar ships. I think the Saratoga and Horicon II.

My apologies, these are probably the plans you already have. 4 sheets, not 5, outboard profile and inboard profiles, but no cross-section stations. Sorry.

Thanks DeadlyTedly and rmks2000
The Saratoga does look a lot like the Ticonderoga. These are the plans I have now, no cross sections as you see. cheers Jim |
