What an interesting ship - I'll be following along for sure.
What cardboard do you use for your formers? I used cardboard from old cases of soda but it has a bad habit of warping. Also how do you cut it? |

The publisher is still Orel, they have temporarily relocated to Kiev.

Redoutable
I'll send you numerous pictures concerning Redoutable - Dévastation, and Courbet, some taken on board, and many of the model of the Dévastation displayed in Rochefort, contact me.
The model of the Redoutable is no more exhibited in Paris for more than 13 years now... I hope it will be displayed again when the Museum reopen. The reopening is scheduled for 2023, (it was first intended 2022), at the exact time I am retired, at last. Sadly, I bought a new camera in 2016, and, last time I visited the museum, dec, 2016, I did not pay attention to the oncoming closing, March, 2018, I was not aware of. I used my camera however in Rochefort, whose collections, although smaller than those of Paris, are rather interesting, and Toulon. Oddly, the museum in Toulon is not so big as expected. In Paris, 1000 out of 35000 items will be exhibited in 2023, and the rest stored in the suburb, as usual. It is said some will be removed to be replaced by others from time to time: watch out, chaps, remember what occurred to the model of the Redoutable! I remember the Halley's comet well, I am doubtful about seeing it another time, unless I live until 2061, July, when I am close to 100.
