Thank you gents.
Vermin_King: sorry to hear of your physical problems. They seem to come with age. Anyway congratulations with your birthday. Don: the interview in NRJ: yes it was before the surgery, but after the attack I had early november. I was surprised to find out that I seem to be on a list of exceptional model builders. If they only knew how I usually mess up things... Seascape: your comments ale always a big support for me. Thank you. Mike: By the way, I did do some small models since my release from hospital. I never meant to stop modelbuilding definitely, but four three masted vessels in one year nearly broke me. That added to rather serious physical problems caused my decision to stop (doing big models). ![]() |

I agree. They may be smaller than Ab's three-masted projects, but they still contain the same artistry and craftsmanship. Mike |

So glad to still be seeing new ship models, no matter what the size.

Your comments are heart warming gentlemen. Most appreciated.
In the mean time I have started a few new projects about which I will keep you informed as soon as the outcome is clearer to me. Probably inspired by my own physical situation I am working on the idea of creating images of ships at the end of their career: going down in a storm or being demolished on a junk-yard. Havent seen much of that aspect of the hobby yet... |
