Very nice Dan! I have a few subs that I've been afraid to tackle but may now that I've seen your builds.

Thanks, Ray, Don, Greg and Bob! It is coming along. Now that the deck is figured out, the rest should be kind of fun and detail oriented. Lots of rigging too!

More later tonight when I'll try and get the rudder and prop started.

Interesting build Dan! A submarine is kind of off the beaten track but is in fact a very fascinating subject for a model. Observing the orange glow in the pictures it seems to me that your modeling hours are mostly (late) in the evening. How familiar .

Thank you, Erik.

I'm a sucker for old airplanes and subs too. They fascinate me and I can't believe the guts it must have taken to actually serve in such a beast!

Yup...evening seems to be the witching hour for paper modeling recently.

Here I've make the neat little stand so I can start adding the rear diving planes, rudder and prop. Just started a bit as you can see.

More to follow soon...Dan

Thanks, Don. That little stand is surprisingly nice and was just cut from the back cover of the model bundle. It's plenty thick and now that the rear planes and prop are on, it's nice and protective!

Here is the rear all done. Next will be the forward planes and then I'll start the conning tower. Can't wait...Dan
