Yes it's a simple but very attractive model. Always wanted to scratch build a Junk. Maybe now I will try.

I think that some people tend to overlook these simple models. They are a great way to take a break from more complex ones as well as a good way to get back into the hobby after a slump. Your junk has a definite charm to it.

Hello, and continue...
Now for the rigging, for this I use Serafil 120/2, first knot it at the bottom and fix it with a drop of glue... ... now lift it over the mast, tension it down using a weight and fix it with glue, let it dry thoroughly. After drying, the clamps are cut off and what is left is the rigging. Sincerely Kurt |

Not seen that method before with the bulldog clips. It is a bit surreal in the middle picture!

Hello Siwi ,
this is my own method Hello junk friends and further .... Now to the sails, which are first doubled... then glue the battens on... ...pre-round the sail slightly...and attach it to the rear mast Best regards Kurt |

Hello everyone
Now we're heading towards the goal...... First knot the main sail on the middle mast with Serafil, then glue it... ... also position the front sail, glue it and let it dry thoroughly. Finally, complete the rigging... and a handful of junk is ready Now place the boat on the base plate. This results in a nice end result. After 19 hours of construction over 17 days of crafting, a simple but very stylish model was created. My conclusion: a simple kit that can be built without any problems, therefore an unreserved recommendation to imitate and enjoy model building! Thank you again for the keen interest and the many likes on the construction report! Sincerely Kurt |

Very well done Junk Kurt.
Those sails make it look very exotic. Mike |
