Hello,
Fred, when I purchased the model I had no idea that it was a relatively old project and I was surprised to find that out. The fact that I continue to work on the model is the best proof that I like this well-designed model. A few new photos:

I commend you for building a real classic! It’s not their fault Google sucks at translation. And you are doing a fine job!

Fred, let's be honest, it's not Google Translate's fault, it's my fault for not learning English. But that is another matter. Now the new photos follow.

Your main gun barrels are more authentic than the ones I made.

Thanks Mike for liking the doula I made.
I will share one of my methods for making such details. Maybe someone can apply it. I use my detail drawn on 80g paper - photo 1. Then I roll it on a mandrel 2mm diameter - photos 2 and 3. I think it's easier to make this way.

The large number of vents and ventilation tubes that the model has, and I don't know where to put them, made me leave the model for a while.
But again, I'll stress that thanks to Mike's post, I'm trying to tackle this problem. Mike, I have a question for you. In photo /5 / I show some constructions that I saw in your model and made, but I could not read anywhere what they are for. The following are photos of the finished product. And now I have to figure out how the boats are secured and lowered from the ship.

Weather Protection Frames
Hi Lachezar,
Those things in photo number 5 are “weather protection frames”. They hold up the canvas weather protection cover for the gangways. I don’t remember if they were included in the HMV kit. I think I added them as a special detail. See images below. I hope this answers your question. Great work making those frames. Mike |

Cheers Mike!
Thanks for the quick response to my question. I also had some such assumption, but in the circle of the joke that sea people should beware of natural phenomena, I did not take it seriously. They are not in the HMV kit, but following your guidance, I made them as much as I could. Have a nice day Lachezar.

Glad to read I provided an adequate response to your question.
Again, compliments on those wonderful "antique" gun barrels. I must take notes describing your design, perhaps for some future project. Mike |

Hello Mike,
I must emphasize that I have always received from you very quick and accurate answers to my inquiries. For which I thank you. I want to let you know that a few days ago I came across the hull blueprints right on the ship Beoluf. I still don't know if I will use them together with the drawings you sent. For now, it's important to fight the lifeboats. I made the mainmast rigging out of thread and I don't know if I made a mistake. The following are pictures of the current state of the model.
