Looks good Kurt. Did you need to reinforce any of the decks or was the kit frame sufficient?

Hello rmks ?

The decks have not been reinforced, it sits very well on the frame

Hello

Parts 34 / 35...assembled and placed...

... the deck is placed on top of it... now stick the tab behind the side wall...

... then connect the top and bottom parts

Sincerely

Nice progress Kurt and wonderful sharp pictures. They bring out the fine print of the model very well, and your work is impeccable! Looks like a fun model to make.

part 34 and 35 are where the galley and laundry are (or were). Spent quite a few hours in the scullery there.

Thank you Erik

Hello everyone
And further .....

Now glue the side wall step by step... and finally stick on the lettering and coat of arms

I start gluing the front side wall at the back... and move forward again step by step...

... where there is a discrepancy of up to 1.5 mm inside, which is simply covered up with brown paint

Sincerely
Kurt

and further ...

The planking was reasonably successful... there were small inconsistencies on the bow...
...same thing at the rear...still I'm happy with the result. Thus, the first structural unit (ship hull
Above water part) completed

Now comes the second structural unit, the underwater hull with the ship stand

Sincerely
Kurt

Yes, and getting hull sides on neatly over a long thin profile and having them match up at the bow and stern takes skill and patience.

Hello everyone

Continuing with the underwater hull....

First reinforce the frames with the enclosed cardboard... connect the two longitudinal frames with part 42...

... and put the scaffolding together

The base plate...glue together with the two tabs

Sincerely
Kurt
