Well, thank you gentlemen for your inspiring kind remarks. The nice thing about this forum is that it does not give us the chance to push a button to express our feelings, but that it demands a spoken (or actually a written) comment.
That's why more questions are asked here than elsewhere.
@Mike: your remarks are always a treat, thank you.
@0Seahorse: Tomek, I will follow your production closely. So far I haven't seen better ones in this line of work.
@Seascape, @John and @Hornswoggler: thanks for your praise.
@shipbuild: I started building Postiljon in March this year.
@YankeeBoy: A model should always show the knowledge behind it. Quite perceptive of you to notice.
@Pixelpusher: I will pass your kind remarks to Emiel.
@Sebastian01: The choice of material is important. I use two basic sorts of textile: one called 'voile' and another called 'Navara fine lawn white'. The trick is to model the stuff with glue. See my tutorial on that.

By the way, I did another model for a friend, Edwin ter Velde, who builds full size vessels from wasted plastic; here is his site:Onze schepen - Clean2Anywhere
It is the fluit he will build starting summer next year after he finished the pleasure vessel he is building now.
This is the fluit model:

Fantastic work Ab, and I hope you can still continue with showing us your great models, despite the physical problems. In all honesty, given the quality of your work, they don't seem to give you too much trouble? Keep well!

Cheers,
Erik

Hello Erik,
I take your comment as a compliment for my models, but I can assure you that it is a real challenge to rig a three-master with shaky hands and no depth in view. It takes away a lot of fun to have to do everything three times over and still not gaining the aimed result. I am getting too old for this line of work.

Hello Ab,

I am always stunned when I see your models, they are so lifelike and authentic, that only you can build, congratulations again.
