Olli's USS San Pablo could be kitbashed relatively easily. It's mostly square boxy superstructure like the SFX boat in the picture.

I got a couple Civil War models started, converted stern wheelers called tinclads, but I do not know when I will get them done and available. I am so far behind on my design work now. Funny how real life stuff like work can really though a monkey wrench into fun time. Anyhow, tinclads look a lot like your second picture. Anyhow, if/when I get one ready it would be an easy convert to look like what you want.

I found info that the City of New Orleans was 290' long. As I couldn't find anything online about a New Orleans riverboat I'm wondering if this is the one and the same. If so, the length of the model is 1' so the scale's about 1/290 then (odd number but it works).

mchale.
I have two stern wheeler riverboats in my collection I would be
willing to sell. One is the Mark Twain which is now a collectable
and builds up to a pretty nice looking model. I have built it and
will include a picture of it on my fireplace. It is approximately 18"
long. The other one is the Columbia Gorge and it is not as elaborate
a model it is pretty simple and is 12" long. You can contact me at
[email protected] Thanks, Ron40

mchale,
I misquoted saying they were both stern wheelers. The Mark Twain
is obviously a side wheeler. Ron
