Holy $#!7! I just saw this and having known Rick for years as a fellow hobbyist and friend, this is a shock and horribly sad. I know I'm not active here much (at all) anymore, but I spent many an evening chatting with Rick about the hobby, the flyers and life in general. It's a small thing, but I don't think this forum would be what it is without him throughout the years. He will be missed. Godspeed Rick!

Ow that is sad news, we never met in person but he made me feel I had a friend on that side of the pond,I will miss him , the Dakar and Starwars stuff , jokes and his Dutch background, Godspeed, Grote Man

I think Rick ran this place with a very even hand. Leaving some awfully large shoes to fill. This is a sad day.
