Maintenance Bay

More on the maintenance bay base structure. Skinned the outside. Working now on the upper structure.

Wow

You keep raising the bar for the rest of us. Very nice build indeed, great work as usual. Doing a KA-50, should have it finished before I leave in a couple of weeks.

Thanks Husker, It is a rather pleasing model as is without the details but front heavy and tends to tip over. If you build it stock, put some weight to the rear to maintain balance. I am still working on the crew and I believe I found a way to build a crew
but that is for another thread.

Thanks for the comments Marksolo. It is still not finished. There are two more phases left to go, That maintenance bay and the figurines. I am waiting the return of my camera so I can post more updates. The walker received it weathering treatment and some numbers and insignias. Those pics are upcoming. See you around in the forums.

Thanks Didier69; Her are a few more updates. Rolled some cylinders and capped them at both ends. Made three of them with pump heads, will attach hoses to them later. Made some buckets and some fire extinguishers with brackets and glued them to the walls. Made some generic boxes and painted them Gunmetal/pewter color.

The walker itself was too clean so I made it more grimier with some weathering. Added some numbers and symbols to the walker and to the chemical/fuel drums.

Working on a ladder platform and some mechanical/electronic boxes.

nice job on the accessories, especially the fire extinguishers. did you design those as well?

the water buckets were also very well done, as if they are really made of tin.

All of the accessories are scratch built by me. I will do another extinguisher later on for the table. It will be the hand held portable. The procedure is the same as the wall models.
