Reminds me of part of the plot for Tom Clancy's book "Debt of Honor".

Specifically, after a cyber attack leaves the American stock market in chaos, a "do-over" is instituted: Roll things back to the way they were before the market was attacked, and go from there.

Yikes! Just recalled what caused the problems in the first place: A certain country's faulty export automobiles. :D

Anyway, as one who learned the lessons of ALWAYS having a backup plan the hard way :(, I join the chorus of "Thank you" singers!
