How to make the airscrew.

At first, we need the wooden texture. Let it be this one:


And, of course, the vector airscrew too:


Place the texture:


And rotate it to make the right orientation of wood fibres (<CTRL> + <T> or Edit->Transform->Rotate 90 CW in Photoshop ):


Select and delete the unnecessary wood:



Pick up the main color of wood (<i>)


And with a brush in Multiply mode opacity app. 40% add a little bit 3d effect (do you remember my tutorial how to make shadows?)


And more:


Copy the screw parts


And place them at the right side:
