well you ahve asked a thing that i just finished learning how to do for my models.
your thread didnt come out good on the post. partial printing reader files helps in resizing bitmaps and photos. use the snapshot tool, to paint, and then resize with the dotted rectangle. you will have to experiment with your images you resize until you get it right. good luck |

You mean copy into Paint and then crop the piece I need and then print at various scales until I get the correct size?

yes, basically.
there are some problems doing this everytime. sometimes the entire pic is huge and cannot be sized right. so you have to snapshot or copy tool that entire page in the reader, then paste into paint, then select box around the piece and then cut and paste into a new paint sheet. then you can size it with something that is the same size as what you need it to be, a ruler can do it outside screen, or inside screen you can cut and paste a comparison item for sizing. jim |
