I am not sure, then I understand right the question. Anyway, today is 2024, 19th of August. For Me, like another Mac users, the last stable version of Inkscape is Inkscape 1.3.2. (091e20e, 2023-11-25). With Inkscape You are able to use multipage support easy, use different layers between pages, (the way another colleagues already wrote here). So, any graphical job possible You are able to use easy and with confidence.
