Understood...

It's enough to use the blur function on a path and the scroll and zoom functions became very slow.

I will create shadows in some other way.

I've been using it quite a bit today (Things are slow right now for a CFI and the weather's not good enough for the aerial photography missions), and did some yesterday. My computer is an old Dell Inspiron laptop with 2 GB of ram...

Ctrl + D in InkScape isn't Deselect All! It's the Duplicate command!

I let you imagine...

Btw I noticed that the use of the Blur slows down the rendering time quite a bit.
