The only way to allow log in without having to use a PIN
is to be a "Local Account".

You can switch to a Local Account at anytime, and its fairly easy if you know your Microsoft account credentials.
*what you used to set up your computer and MS account in the first place.

The difference with a Local Account (versus Admin Account) is you can't do things like add/remove programs. You can't make any changes to the system or accounts.
You will be asked to use your Admin credentials (or log in with your PIN) to do so.

I decided to stay on Admin account (on my personal desktop).
The Hello PIN is annoying, but I usually only do it once a day when I first boot up my system.

That is not entirely true.
Even on a single personal account system admin account gives an additional protection from the Internet stuff.
I bet you can set up your system to auto login at startup, don’t suppose M$ is so limited.
After all how many changes one can do to the settings that would require admin’s password, unless one is a type never satisfied spending days tweaking.

The statement I made (that you quoted) is 100% true and factual.
All I did was explain the purpose behind a Local account on a Windows machine.
Whereas an Admin can control all desktops, a local account cannot.
A local account can also have individualized settings.
A local account system doesn't require the Windows login since it doesn't have access to the MS account.
But an Admin account does require sign in.
What's not 'entirely true"?

As far as "auto log-in" (meaning, no Windows sign-in required), no you can't.
Unless its a "Local" account...as I explained.
I got this info straight from Microsoft, so go tell them their system is "so limited".

Unless you know of a way to get around this that Microsoft doesn't?

I can confirm the local versus barsteward account. Win 11 also has a moronic so called ai assistant. It steals files and moves them onto the cloud without so much as a byte your leave, (Sorry about that).
Why do I say 'steals'? Well first I knew copilot existed was an email from microsnot telling me I must BUY more cloud storage or be unable to use my email or cloud storage. I had a discussion with a microsnot employee who calimed it was not theft but HELPING me. I pointwed out it was helping microsnot stgeal money from me for something I did not want done but they are a thick bunch.
Copilot is supposedly a smarter search engine. Huh? Found itself into my wallet quick enough and luckiliy it was empty. Hah, Hah.....
