Edge vs PaperModelers

Papermodelers.com website does not like my installation of Edge (the browser).
It either randomly logs me out, or Edge crashes or locks up and I have to use Task Manager or once or twice Control/Alt/Delete to kill Edge .

I do not have this problem using other browsers.
Is it just my PC that has this problem, or has any one else had to deal with Edge not being friendly with PaperModelers?

I haven't had any issues with Firefox 111.0.1 (64-bit), on a Windows 10 operating system.

No problems with Edge here, either. I never use it

I have no problems with Firefox either. Uninstalled Edge altogether as I found it far too intrusive, and at times would override my default browser.

You may not find it easy though, V_K. I think you're going to need a third party uninstaller to get rid of it; I use the free Ashampoo version and swear by it. And you may have to do it more than once. When I first uninstalled it it came back again all by itself two days later. So I uninstalled once more and haven't been bothered by it now for a long time.

Thanks for comments.
I cannot not remove Edge, but I was able to re install the program: Windows Settings/Apps/Uninstall/Edge/Modify and repaired the program.
I will have to see if Edge has become more stable following the repair.

it is a problem with edge. I have two PC computers and two laptops. They all lock up on Edge but not on Google or Firefox. They did not lock up on Explorer. It is not just Paper Modelers, Edge hangs up on anything.

It is really beyond me why anyone would even try to use Edge as their standard browser. For my regular daytime job I unfortunately have to work with it (inside an MS 365 surrounding) and there isn't a day I do not curse the system. It is so immensely user-unfriendly, counter-intuitive and needlessly complex. (I could start a rant about it but I think I won't. (-: )

My advice would be to just stay with a dedicated standalone browser like Firefox. It is almost non-intrusive, has really good add-ons for dealing with cookies and trackers, and is regularly upgraded and improved.

Just my two eurocents...
