wow I downloaded that one that cmags mentioned and having tried a few can say it is the best one i have tried so far by far.

I completely agree... PD Fill tools does everything needed to convert images and documents, merge and separate PDF files. It's a great piece of software.

FreePDF comes with a merging tool which I always use. That is another suggestion for you

I also use PDFill. I've combined up to 19 independent .pdf files into one with no problem. I've also split files so as to get rid of unwanted pages. Again, no problem.
