PDF merging tool?
Hello all,
I use Inkscape to do repaints, which can also export the pages as one-page pdfs. Does anyone use a good set of freeware that they trust to do a merge of multiple one-page pdfs into one multi-page pdf, or is there a tool in Inkscape that can do this that I've overlooked? Thank you all for your time. Doug |

I have not found a tool wich can merge PDF files yet. To my knowledge Foxit was once able to do so, but the newer versions don't have that function anymore. To merge some of my files I have used oneline PDF mergers like PDFjoin.com or mergePDF.net wich are for free.
But if anyone does know a free tool wich can do it without having to upload the seperate files I would be interested as well Jerry Last edited by Jerry V; 08-19-2010 at 11:58 AM. Reason: Signing the message once was enough I think.. |

I use Adolix split and merge PDF. It works fine but only does 5 pages at a time.
Adolix Split Merge PDF - free pdf combine, append pdf freeware, split pdf files

PDFill PDF Tools works well, and is free: PDFill PDF Editor with FREE PDF Writer and FREE PDF Tools - www.PDFill.com
Between this and Foxit Reader, I haven't needed any other PDF tools.

Just tried PDFTK Builder - worked like a charm. Doug Campbell's N6164 Nieuport 28 may yet get off the ground. My thanks to all of you for the suggestions - I saw so many that I wanted to check with the trustworthy folks here to make sure I wasn't downloading somthing malicious.

I'll be looking at all these suggestions. Meanwhile I've had success pulling apart and putting together using PDF Split and Merge (which is not the same as the program from Adolix).

I'm with C-Mags, and B-Manic... I use PDFill and their free tools, nearly every day. It is just about the best one out there for this kind of thing, and it's free.
