FGMM Civil JU-52
Well, I hemmed and hawed all day today about what to build, but I have finaly decided on the FG JU-52. The Civil version from the mid 30s. This will be completely stock. And IMO, this wonderful model designed by John Dell doesnt Need any mods; its brilliant as it is!
Looks like there is lots of time, so I will get started on this after I have finished up with my GO-229, hopefully in a week or so. |

Excellent choice! I picked this one up last week and am really looking forward to building it someday. The civil version is particularly attractive. I couldn't find the WSAM number on this kit. Did you happen to spot it or a scale reference anywhere?
I'll be watching your build closely! Best of luck. Chris |

I am planning to do the winter version of the JU-52. I took some measurements in Photoshop of the parts for the wings and body and added it all up. With a wing span of 95'10" and a little math the large version came out about 1/51 and the regular version about 1/79. I printed a regular version for me.

Nice choice.
The civil passenger aircraft of the 20s and 30s are always interesting subjects. |
