my contribution to this is the Lockheed-P38
i'm doing the large version as the regular one is a little bit too small for me

Just take it slow. Be aware the the P-38 is one of the oldest FG models. Some parts may not fit as nicely as some models you may be used to. Do enjoy it though. It has that old hand drawn artsy feel to it.

I thought about this one but I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to get that symmetry right!

Don't know... On the "Texan" at 1/60 scale the wrap part that slides over the front is biggr in diameter then the front of the body, and I added a "washer"of paper, painted black. This made the "step" for the radial engine cowling and vents...strangely, at 1/100 scale, the size difference disappears. I do not know if the washer or extra layer idea would work for you or not.

Are the booms on different pages? If so, check to make sure that you printed them at the same scale. That might be the problem.

all parts of the booms are on the same page allthough the booms are on separate pages so all parts should be ok but they are not

The P-38 does have that sizing problem, a consequence of being hand drawn. I usually end up fixing it by cutting out the wing holes and lining up everything by hand.
