I Respectfully suggest these buttons as alternatives to a "Like" Button.

Button A: "Well Done !"

Button B: "Good Job !"

Button C: "Superb !"

Each can be applied to any model of any complexity without fear of degrading the fellowship of our Forum, and each carries with it an element of encouraging praise and/or approval.

In this sense, the buttons would be worthwhile additions whilst remaining non-divisive and noncontroversial in terms of appearing to pander to any form of 'popularity contest'.

Just a Respectfully Offered Suggestion to my fellow forum members, in the hopes that the suggestion meets and shows respect and consideration to those who hold views in each 'camp'.

For my own part: whilst I understand the notion of a "Like" Button, I tend to think of it as reflecting and encouraging divisiveness rather than forum harmony.

Therefore, though a "Like" button may not be a wise idea, a set of buttons such as I above suggest might well be more suited to our needs; given that said need exists and is perceived.

Kind and Respectful Regards My Friends, Uyraell.
