I've had the same problem yesterday morning. Started getting blank pages. That was using Firefox. Everything seems ok this morning so far. No problem last night using Safari.

I'm using Firefox and did see that message once a few days ago. Since then everything has been fine.

I can confirm both issues with Firefox 83 on Linux: periodical auto logout and the warning message browsing external URLs. For the latter I thought it was a configuration change by the administrator.
Furthermore I report another longstanding bug: the arrows to paginate inside long threads (with more than 40 posts) always go to the first page of the same thread. The only way to change page is to click on the down arrow to the right of "Last »" button and manually insert the wanted page number.

Can you document that process?
And give specifics of your browser, os, your issue is the first one i have heard of, so if you can do some screen shots, that would help Jason and myself to work on tracking down a resolution

I use Firefox 83 on Linux Mint 20 (by the way, while taking the screenshots, the forum has logged me out, it seems that there is a timeout for inactivity that I never experienced since a couple of days ago).
As you can see, URL in area 1 and 3 are the same, this is the error.

No hijack, it is a legitimate concern, and we use threads like this to keep track of complaints and concerns

speaking of Firefox, sometime within last few months it had an update where they instituted a feature where Firefox itself automatically determined what cookies came from high spam places and they were deleted without asking the user.
For several weeks it was a bit annoying to me, maybe the AI had to learn what my normal is. Give me a moment to look and see if I can find any documentation related to that.
